Longsight Art Space

Longsight Art Space is PROFORMA’s new exhibition and live art venue, platforming community engaged and underrepresented artists and curators, centring our programming in Longsight as a long-term organisational residency.

PROFORMA is a non-profit visual art, performance and curating platform supporting artists and curators by commissioning new work and providing artist exchange opportunities while offering an essential programme for artists’ development including mentoring and peer-led talks.

Presenting artists from the Greater Manchester region, our aim is to commission new work for spaces outside of traditional galleries and support artists and curators through exchanges locally and internationally

Opening Times:

New opening hours from 15th November:
Tuesdays: 10am – 8pm
Wednesday – Saturday: 10am – 4pm
Occasional Thursday lates until 8pm
Occasional Sundays: 12pm-3pm

Accessibility:

We have use of an off site disabled toilet and the venue is accessible by wheelchair/level access throughout.

Getting here:

We are in a residential area so parking is on the neighbouring streets.

Bus 150 stops outside the venue and Levenshulme train station is a 15 minute walk.
